I entered a songwriting contest today, something I haven't tried in a long time. I had a couple of songs in the archives, so I decided to try it again with a labour song I wrote and recorded in 2009. It will likely be my only labour song, as my experience with organized labour was short lived. However, my experience was intense enough to inspire writing about it.
