Get ready for a blast from the past as the Peterborough Pop Ensemble presents “Back to the Fifties” on Saturday, February 8, 2020. Showtime is 2:00 p.m. at the historic Market Hall Performing Arts Centre in downtown Peterborough. The Pop Ensemble is thrilled to welcome Jordan Mercier as emcee for this event. Featuring the music of such fifties artists as Danny and the Juniors, The Shirelles, Buddy Holly, Elvis, The Chiffons, Paul Anka and The Everly Brothers, this concert will get your toes tapping and make you want to rock around the clock!

As part of the Peterborough Pop Ensemble Charity Program, the Ensemble is honoured to be supporting Tri County Community Support Services with a portion of the proceeds from this concert.

The Great White North has produced some of the world’s finest artists and bands such as The Guess Who, Bryan Adams, BTO, Gordon Lightfoot, Joni Mitchell, Sarah McLachlan, and Lighthouse. The Peterborough Pop Ensemble celebrates the best of the Great White North when they take to the stage to present Rockin’ the True North on Saturday, April 27, 2019. Show time is 7:30 p.m. at the historic Market Hall Performance Centre, Peterborough, ON.
