Rocking The True North

Simply stated, Canadians know how to rock. The Great White North has produced some of the world’s finest artists and bands such as The Guess Who, Bryan Adams, BTO, Gordon Lightfoot, Joni Mitchell, Sarah McLachlan, and Lighthouse. The Peterborough Pop Ensemble celebrates the best of the Great White North when they take to the stage to present Rockin’ the True North on Saturday, April 27, 2019. Show time is 7:30 p.m. at the historic Market Hall Performance Centre, Peterborough, ON.

As part of the Peterborough Pop Ensemble Charity Program, the Ensemble is honoured to be supporting the Peterborough Humane Society with a portion of the proceeds from this concert.

The Peterborough Pop Ensemble proudly presents Songbirds & Crooners – Songs of Days Gone By on Saturday, February 9, 2019, 2:00 p.m., at the historic Market Hall Performance Centre, Peterborough, ON. Featuring the unforgettable hits of artists such as Rosemary Clooney, Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Bing Crosby and Peggy Lee, to name a few, this matinee performance will pay tribute to the smooth vocal style of some of the most iconic vocalists of the 20th century.

Come this Thursday, July 26th to celebrate Peterborough’s cresting wave of Open Mics, Open Stages, Jams and Featured Artist Series ! Show starts at 9 pm, and goes until last call ! Special guests include Open Mic hosts and performers, local Hip Hop artists, and a couple of surprises, including The Boo Radley Project, an eight piece Funk, Indie, Jazz band from Guelph, Ontario, and the up and coming Matt Greco Band.
